I’m going to BMT come March and then off to Keesler for my Tech School. I was wondering because I’m 24 and have my own bedroom set and a few things from living on my own already. When I get to my duty station I heard since I’m single I’ll be living in the barracks. Sounds just like when I lived in the dorms back in my college days. I was wondering though would I be able to take out the furniture they have in there to put my own things in there. Or will they just put all my furniture in another storage unit on base till I qualify for my own housing on base?
