I am a barista, and my next door neighbor is a pastry chef. We were toying with the idea of selling coffee and pastries from our shared storage unit between our condos, similar in operation to “in wall” shops like Blue Bottle in San Francisco. What kind of license would we need to do this, and is it legal to operate a small cafe on a property which you are renting? I assume it would be the same permit you would need for a lemonade stand.
