Ok, so a little background. We are in California. I have a couple living in a storage unit. I have called the police 3x and they won’t do anything. I can’t just go down to the courthouse and file eviction papers, Self Storage has it’s own little set of laws. I am no longer taking his money so after 66 days I can legally have a lien sale. I have locked up his units, but he just cuts the locks or removes the locking device. Is there any way of getting him out of here sooner without having to go through the hassle and expense of a lien sale? Has anyone else been through this? What do I do?
