We put our old couch in the storage unit and yesterday went to get it out to give someone and we discovered that the unit must have leaked so the couch has many areas of black and brown mold on it. Salvation Army will not pick it up and we do not know what to do. We can’t have it in there any longer. Would I be allowed to take it to a dump site? Or would the city pick it up like this in heavy trash? What can I do?
