I’ve lost my movies and some other files from my pc - any suggestions for how i might retrieve them? I was deleting a lot of photos from the Picasa photo software yesterday, and now can’t find a lot of my movies and other files that had photos in them. I’m aware of deleting the photos, but eveything else in the files has gone too. For some movies i’m just left with empty folders, or an icon in iTunes (but a message saying can’t find the file comes up when you try to play it).

Oddly, they’re not in the recycle bin, and a search of the whole system doesn’t show them up either. They have also gone from the backup storage box.

I’m not very computer literate (pretty obvious ?!) so any help in layman’s terms would be wonderful please. Thanks!
