Hiya i’m getting 2 robos sometime soon and i’m gonna buy this 160L box for them - here’s a pic.

So I’ve this old cage - with bars, yeah. so i’m gonna try cut them and use them for ventilation - on the front, top and side. the bars on the top for the lid obvously and the one on the front is like a tunnel and the one on the side is for a waterbottle.
anyway i don’t know how to cut the hamster bars nor the plastic! would a sharp, good kitchen utility knife cut the plastic, cus i’ve got a big saw for the bars.
Could you give me good ideas of what else i could do for the box please? like stuff i can do to make it more intresting thanks!!!!!!!
